We loved our lecture last week at the Royal Geographic Society by Daphne Sheldrick who for the last fifty years has dedicated her life to the protection and preservation of orphan elephants and rhino. There was not a dry eye in the house as we listened to stories about the baby elephants and rhinos, who would normally have died due to poaching and human conflict.
